Last night I set the telescope on the Beehive Cluster around 1am. This morning I woke up at 6 am and stopped SharpCap from imaging. Around 7:30 am I used Weighted Batch Processing script in PixInsight on and started combining the 622 images taken. When I compare the image below to the first one I ever took of the Beehive Cluster; ( link… ). I see how much better this one is than the first one I took in May 2023 with a Cannon and my Evolution at F10 on the stock mount.

Today’s image was using my

  • 8″ Celestron Evolution
  • AVX Mount
  • StarSense Autoguider
  • SVBony 405cc camera
  • SvBony 2″ Luminance Filter
  • Hyperstar4
  • 622 30 second subs
  • 50 gain
  • SharpCap 4.1
  • PixInsight
