Bubble Nebula with M52

Posted on September 9, 2024 By Cosmic Ken
Deep Space Objects, Nebula, Star Clusters

I am happy with this image. I started with the Bubble nebula, then I realized how close M52 was so I changed the ROI to 2896×2302 and got a nice shot of both. At full frame I had 2 clusters but the Bubble nebula would have been much smaller. This image is 131 30 second frames stacked and processed using Pixinsight. The picture was taken with my Celestron “8 SCT on September 8, 2024 about 11:30 pm. I used my Hyperstar and my ZWO ASI2600MC pro camera with a 2” IR/UV filter.
