There are actually two Bubble Nebula’s. The other one is in the Barnard’s Galaxy. This one is located in the constellation Cassiopeia. It lies close to the open cluster Messier 52.
The picture from my Celestron 8″ with my Hyperstar actually gets both the nebula and the open cluster. And if I moved my telescope a little I would have also had NGC7510 in the picture. I dropped the ROI 3200×3200 and took 590 – 2 second images at 200 gain followed by 30 60 second images @ 0 gain. I stacked and processed with Pixinsight.
The picture from my Celestron 9.25″ is a close up where I set the ROI to 2128×2072 and took 30 3 minute subs @ 100 ga.in
