How to Collimate using artificial stars

This in one of two videos on how easy it is to use artificial stars to collimate an SCT.

I use the Hubble Optics Artificial Stars Flashlight @ https://hubble-optics.com/artificial-stars.html

If you use a mount to steady your telescope, you need to turn tracking off. I use CPWI so it is simple to turn it off under the Telescope menu item. Once you slew to the artificial stars you simply move your view out of focus to create the donut. Then simply move the secondary mirror screws until the donut is perfect.

I personally find it much easier to use the artificial stars because things are not effected by the Earth’s movement.
