M110 – A Dwarf Elliptical Galaxy

When imaging M31 – the Andromeda Galaxy, M110 is always the bright small galaxy always noticeable in the image. https://modernastronomer.com/2024/09/m31-andromeda-with-hyperstar One October 21, 2024, I set out to get just this galaxy. I used my Celestron 9.25 SCT with my ZWO ASI2600 MC Pro camera. I did not use any filters, Just pointed directly to this galaxy and took 75 3 minute long exposures.

I did my normal processing in Pixinsight, ABE, Background Neutralization, BlurExterminator, NoiseXTerminator, ArcsinhStretch, and StarXTerminator. Then using masks, stretched the best I could, Did my best to get rid of the Green and put it all back together with PixMath…
