They say this star cluster is over 8 billion years old. She is a beauty This image was taken 10/22/2024 using my 9.25 telescope. The image is 20 30 second exposures and 13 1 minute exposures. I processed it in about 2 minutes in Pixinsight.
I am happy with this image. I started with the Bubble nebula, then I realized how close M52 was so I changed the ROI to 2896×2302 and got a nice shot of both. 25,0000 Lightyears away. M13 Hercules Globular Cluster is a bright cluster of over 300,000 stars. I took this picture on June 15, 2024. I used my ZWO ASI2600MC, 41 2 minute subs from 11PM through Midnight. I had the gain set at 0.
Messier 3 (M3; also NGC 5272) is a globular cluster of stars in the northern constellation of Canes Venatici. I took this on 6/8/2024 about 12:30 am. This 20 1 min subs stacked in Sharpcap and processed in PixInsight.
